Pictures from my life
Mets vs. Rockies. Glavine pitches a 1 hit shutout! The Mets won 4-0 thanks to a stellar performance by Tom Glavine, who pitched a 1 hit shutout (was a no-hitter for 8 2/3rd innings). The US Marines Airborne parachuted in before the game. Impressive display. These are my closest shots yet thanks to my 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L, with the addition in some shots of a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter ("The cheapie"). I didn't leave it on long, cause I was concerned it might affect the image quality, but it turns out it didn't. The camera did have a slightly harder time focusing (with an effective f/8 apeture) but it did alright. Only hunted a couple of times. I absolutely love this lens.
